TORONTO – EMS firm Flextronics is partnering with MEMC Singapore to produce solar photovoltaic panels for SunEdison at Flextronics' facility here.

Production of the solar panels is scheduled to begin the second quarter of 2011 and is expected to result in more than 100 new local jobs. 

Flextronics will produce MEMC branded solar panels that will be used in SunEdison’s solar PV projects.

No financial terms were disclosed.
