STRATHAM, NH -- Vitronics Soltec USA will close its facility here and move production of its reflow and selective soldering lines to other Vitronics and Speedline sites.
The moves will be completed by Aug. 1.
The company will move production of its selective machinery to its manufacturing facility in Oosterhout, the Netherlands. The company also plans to move its XPM reflow product line to Speedline's manufacturing facility in Camdenton, MO. Speedline and Vitronics are both owned by ITW.
Certain personnel, including business unit manager Laurie Hume and sales director Mick Austin, of Vitronics Soltec USA will remain with the company, as will existing sales and support personnel.
“This move enables us to invest more in product development, in keeping with our long term strategy to develop market-leading soldering equipment that best supports our customers,” said Hume. “Our US location is changing, but our commitment to customer service is not.”
