TAIPEI – Foxconn reported consolidated revenues of $28.6 billion for the third quarter, up 9.8% sequentially, and up 6% year-over-year.
Net profits for the quarter were $634.6 million, down 7.4% year-over-year.
Consolidated revenues for the first nine months of 2011 were $78.7 billion, with net profits at $1.5 billion.
For 2011, industry expects the firm’s consolidated revenues to surpass $99 billion.
However, hard drive shortages are expected to impact the supply of PCs in the fourth quarter, and growth of Apple orders still remains uncertain, say published reports.
