LANSING, MI – EMS firm MPL Inc. sustained fire damage this morning, according to published reports.

The three-alarm fire caused significant damage to the roof and office space, but the printed circuit board manufacturing area did not appear affected, according to the Ithaca Journal. No one was in the building when the fire started.

Investigators determined the cause of the fire was a malfunction in the building's furnace.
