JIANGXI, CHINA – Ryder Electronics will open a 280,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site here in 2012, with plans to eventually increase the size to 430,000 sq. ft.

Ryder Electronics Xinfeng Ltd. will perform plastic injection molding, SMT assembly, cable assembly and final assembly.

The EMS company expects strong growth over the coming years. The Jiangxi site will meet growing demand for professional audio, consumer, white goods, automotive and industrial electronics.

Ryder has hired and trained more than 300 employees for the new site, which is located about 450 km north of Shenzhen. The new site was first announced last April.

The company also has operations in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
