MANKATO, MN — EI Microcircuits is planning a $6.7 million expansion at a new site here, according to published reports.
The contract electronics manufacturer is financing the deal through its bank and $860,000 in loans from Mankato.
The new building in Mankato will be located on a 6.4 acre site owned by the city. President Rob Else said the company is at capacity at its existing site in Mankato.
The EMS firm currently operates plants in Mankato and in St. Peter, MN. Its annual sales are more than $30 million, according to the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Directory of EMS Companies.
