ELKHART, IN -- CTS's electronics manufacturing services factory outside Bangkok has been fully restored and is operational, the company said today.

Production has begun to be transferred from CTS's California facilities back to Thailand operations, and normalized production levels for all customers are anticipated by the end of June.

The plant was closed during a massive flood that left much of Bangkok underwater last fall.

The company added that flood-related insurance reimbursements are lagging actual incurred expenses by several months. As a result, approximately $4 million of insurance reimbursements originally expected in the first quarter are now anticipated in the second quarter.

The EMS company said lower volumes in January and early February will weaken first quarter earnings, but it left its fiscal 2012 earnings forecast unchanged.
