BILLINGSTAD, NORWAY -- Kitron reported second-quarter earnings before interest and tax fell 23% from a year ago to 10.6 million krones.
Revenue slipped 3.3% from last year to 416.4 million ($68.3 million) in the quarter. Profit before tax and discontinued operations was 6.1 million krones, down 26.5%.
The EMS company booked orders of 443.2 million krones, up 12.2%, and the backlog was 823.7 million, up 5.4%.
Kitron is the world's 44th largest EMS, according to the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Top 50.
