SAO PAOLO -- Lenovo reportedly will announce the acquisition of Brazilian electronics manufacturer Comércio de Componentes Eletrônicos today, according to published local reports.

Lenovo chairman Yang Yuanqing has scheduled a press conference for later today to announce what is being called the company's largest-ever deal in Brazil.

CCE reported operating revenues of BRL 1.6 billion ($783 million) in 2011. It makes branded DVD players, desktop and notebook computers, LCD displays, mobile phones, and other electronics.
