SANTA CLARA, CA Exhibits at the annual PCB West trade show in the Silicon Valley open today, featuring a sold out show floor.

Nearly 100 companies are represented at the show, including all the leading PCB and DfM design software providers, plus well over 20 PCB manufacturers and contract assemblers.

Registration for the exhibits is free. The one-day exhibition also includes an array of free technical sessions, including talks on microwave transmission lines, PCB design capture, CAD-CAM, and handling printed circuit board defects and returns, among others. PCB West is being held Sept. 25 – 27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center and is sponsored by the UPMG publications PRINTED CIRCUIT DESIGN & FAB and CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY.

PCB West annually provides a conference and exhibition focused on the design and manufacture of PCBs, HDI, electronics assembly and circuit board test. The 2011 event attracted nearly 2,000 preshow registrants and more than 1,250 attendees for the actual event.
