PALMDALE, CA -- EMS firm Senior Systems Technology has been shuttered and its assets will be sold auction to pay creditors, the company indicated.

Senior Systems operated a 130,000 sq. ft. facility with three SMT lines. It focused on the defense and aerospace end-markets, supplying to such companies as Raytheon and Boeing.

A notice on the company's website said: "Please be advised that Senior Systems Technology, Inc, executed a General Assignment for the benefit of its creditors in favor of Credit Management Association on August 1, 2012."

Ironically, company management was interviewed earlier this year by Profile Magazine on the importance of diversification.
