ATLANTA, GA – CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY today announced Creation Technologies as its EMS Company of the Year for 2012.

The distinction is bestowed annually on EMS companies that have demonstrated profitability and sustained excellence among their peers.

Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada-based Creation Technologies has been among the most successful Tier 2 (revenues between $500 million and $1 billion) EMS companies over the past decade, having expanded both organically and through acquisition. The company now has 13 factories, 11 of which are in North America, and has grown 36% over the past five years, following a highly diversified model in which its top three customers make up just 10% of its overall revenue.

“We've been watching Creation Technologies with interest for several years,” said Mike Buetow, editor-in-chief of CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY. “The company's track record proves consistent growth and profitability are not foreign concepts to North American manufacturers. What’s remarkable is that Creation Technologies has never closed a site due to a lack of business. For a large Western-based EMS of its size, that’s unheard of, and speaks well to its due diligence, management and execution.”

Creation Technologies joins AsteelFlash, Fabrinet, Key Tronic EMS and Plexus in the select group of winners of the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY EMS Company of the Year.
