JAKARTA -- Foxconn Technology's planned expansion in Indonesia is reportedly stalled pending the company's fulfillment of several government requirements.

The delays could last three to six months, Industry Minister M.S. Hidayat told the Jakarta Post.

According to the Post, Foxconn has "several terms and conditions yet to meet with a number of candidates for its local partners" and negotiations remain underway.

The company is supposed to locate its first plant in the Modern Cikande Industrial Estate in Banten province, west Java. The world's largest EMS/ODM has, according to reports, plans to invest as much as $10 billion in Indonesia, although Hidayat said an initial investment of $2 billion to $3 billion is expected.
