BANGALORE -- EMS companies in India gained ground in the past year, with Sanmina leading the way.

The contract assembler jumped from third to first in the domestic rankings, knocking Jabil Circuit India from the top spot.

Jabil finished second, while SFO Technologies moved up to third, and Dixon Technologies dropped to fourth. NTL Electronics, Flextronics Technologies, Elin Electronics and Kaynes Technology remained in the same positions.

The data were collected and compiled by electronicsb2b.com, which adds that many companies haven’t filed their latest revenues with the Indian government and as such have been left out of the rankings.
