ROTHERHAM, UK – VC Electronics will merge with another printed circuit board manufacturer and will add 10 of its staff, according to published reports.

The firm did not disclose the company’s name. Other local contract electronics manufacturers include S2S Electronics, G.A. Assembly and CPI Electronics.

The EMS firm said revenues would more than double to £2.7 million following the acquisition. VC Electronics managing director Pat Cummins said that environmentally friendly electronics such as light sensors and smart meters could boost sales even higher.
