SALEM, NH -- Electronic Instrumentation and Technology will open an NPI electronics assembly plant here toward the end of this summer.

In January EIT, which is based in Sterling, VA, acquired the former Suntron EMS facility in Methuen MA. The 20,000 sq. ft. plant houses three SMT lines. The company's lease on the Methuen plant ends in September.

EIT also has a site in Danville, VA.
