MINNEAPOLIS – Bob D. DuLaney, Lockheed Martin and US Air Force Major General (Ret.), will keynote SMTA International on Oct. 15.

He will present F-35 Lightning II: The Centerpiece for 21st Century Global Security.

The F-35 Lightning II is a 5th Gen. fighter, with fused sensor information, network-enabled operations and advanced sustainment. Three variants of the F-35 will replace the A-10 and F-16 for the US Air Force, the F/A-18 for the US Navy, the F/A-18 and AV-8B Harrier for the US Marine Corps, and fighters for at least ten other countries.

DuLaney will provide an overview of the F-35 program, detailing the importance of the aircraft, current progress on the program, and its economic impact.

DuLaney is senior manager F-35 customer engagement for Lockheed Martin. Bob joined Lockheed in August 2007 after a thirty-three year career in the US Air Force.
