MINDEN, NV – GE’s Measurement & Control business has opened a printed circuit board assembly center here to provide prototypes and testing.

The firm invested $4.3 million in a surface mount assembly line.

A team of engineering experts will work the line, collaborating early in the development cycle with global sourcing, design, layout and product applications teams.

Several prototypes have already completed processes in the new center.

The facility houses the company’s line of condition monitoring products and services.
