BILLINGSTAD, NORWAY -- Kitron today named Dag Songedal interim CEO, pending the appointment of a permanent CEO.

Songedal has been managing director of Kitron Norway since 2008. The EMS company did not indicate whether Songedal is being considered for the permanent job.

Former chief executive Jørgen Bredesen left Kitron in April after seven years in the company.
