RAINTON BRIDGE, TYNE AND WEAR, ENGLAND -- Connor Solutions in investing £3.6m to add capacity and a larger workforce at its EMS factory here.

The contract electronics assembler is using locally funded grants for the expansion, which could double the capacity of the 50,000 sq. ft. building. The company could hire up to 60 more workers as well, according to news reports.

According to a news report, Connor managing director Dermot Guerin said the investment will help the EMS company increase its revenues to £20 million.
