LOUISVILLE, KY -- Ayrshire Electronics has named Myron Blackburn senior vice president of operations, responsible for day-to-day operations of the EMS company's manufacturing facilities.

This is Blackburn's second stint at Ayrshire, having previously worked at the contract assembler from December 2007 to March 2011, when he went to work for Flextronics in Louisville as general manager of its tech repair operations.

He also was with Sanmina from 2002 to 2007.

Ayreshire is one of the largest privately held EMS companies in the US, with estimated sales of about $250 million annually. It operates five plants in the Southern US and Mexico.
