MILPITAS, CA -- NBS this week completed its move into a new facility that expands floor space for its engineering and manufacturing operations by 50%. The Silicon Valley-based contract electronics manufacturer moved its manufacturing to Dixon Business Park here, a state-of-the-art facility of about 60,000 sq. ft.

The site features five automated SMT lines, test and repair capabilities, larger materials handling and storage space, and modularly designed systems integration areas optimized for Kanban lean manufacturing processes and rapid job reconfiguration.

The company previously was based in Santa Clara, CA.

“Our latest move is a significant sign that our having extolled Made in USA beginning in 2010 was much more than a slogan,” said Michael Maslana, president and CEO.  “It is now widely recognized as an attractive attribute and in the context of ongoing industry discussion about reshoring, our expansion demonstrates both a timely and meaningful continued commitment.”
