MALMO, SWEDEN -- PartnerTech reported third-quarter sales rose 2% from last year to SEK 528 million ($83.2 million) on higher capacity utilization at most of its EMS units. The company's machining operations saw a sharp, ongoing decline, especially from its defense end-market.

The third-quarter net profit was SEK 7 million, up from SEK 1 million. Operating profits rose 10% to SEK 11 million.

For the September period, cash flow after investments were SEK -26 million, down from SEK 30 million.

It was the second straight quarter of improving sales. Year to date net sales are SEK 1.66 billion, down 2.2%.
