TORONTO – SMTC Corp. reported third-quarter revenue of $72.9 million, down 3.6% year-over-year, and up 12.3% sequentially.

The sequential increase was mainly due to two customers, the firm said.

Adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter was $2.1 million, up 50% year-over-year. In the second quarter of 2013, the electronics manufacturing firm posted a loss of $1.3 million.
