TAIPEI -- Foxconn reported December consolidated revenues of NT$490.9 billion ($16.4 billion), a new company record. Sales were up 7.6% sequentially and 18.9% year-over-year.

Fourth-quarter revenue rose 44.8% year-over-year to NT$1.33 trillion. The results were sufficient to push the world's largest ODM/EMS company into the positive side for growth in 2013, with sales of NT$3.95 trillion, up 1.25% from 2012.

Foxconn credited demand for consumer electronics, PCs and communication devices.
