PHILADELPHIA -- ACI Technologies will host a two-day TechExpo next week at its training and demo center here. The event will feature several presentations and equipment demonstrations, highlighted by a talk on nanocoating stencils by Chrys Shea.

The expo takes place May 14-15, with demos beginning at 10 am and presentations at 11 am.

Presentation topics will include new counterfeit detection technology, circuit board cleaning and conformal coating, BGA rework, BGA underfill, SPI and AOI, creating 3-D images using CT, selecting no-clean solder paste and conformal coating compatibility, reverse engineering of circuit boards, and ultrasonic and vapor cleaning.

Besides Shea, presenters and companies demostrating equipment will include Nokomis, Nordson Asymtek, Humiseal, Hakko, Koh Young, Nikon, Pace, Weller, Robotas, Alpha Metals, Essemtec, ScanCAD International and Crest Ultrasonics)
