SHENZHEN, CHINA – Hon Hai (Foxconn) plans to hire more than 100,000 people in mainland China to make the latest Apple iPhone, say reports.

Foxconn competitor and fellow ODM Pegatron said it would expand its workforce in one China factory 30%, also as a result of demand for the new iPhone.

Foxconn will build 70% of the phones, expected to be released this fall. Pegatron will produce the remaining 30%, according to reports.
