ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Jabil Circuit today reported preliminary fiscal 2015 first-quarter net revenue of $4.55 billion, up 5% year-over-year. Net income for the quarter ended Nov. 30 was $72.2 million, down 38.8% compared to the first quarter of fiscal 2014.

Operating income was $144.8 million for the period, down 6.8% year-over-year.

“Our results reflect strong demand within our Diversified Manufacturing Services segment, as well as solid execution and performance across the entire business,” said CEO Mark T. Mondello.

Electronics Manufacturing Services accounted for $2.63 billion in revenue for the fiscal first quarter, while Diversified Manufacturing Services accounted for $1.92 billion.

The firm expects fiscal 2015 second-quarter net revenue of $4.15 billion to $4.35 billion and GAAP operating income between $106 million and $142 million.
