TAIPEI -- Lite-On Technology's consolidated fourth-quarter revenues climbed 1.5% year-over-year to NT$60.1 billion (US$1.87 billion).
Consolidated December revenues rose 1.3% year-over-year to NT$20.4 billion (US$644 million). Sales were up 2.25% sequentially for the month, the firm said.
For the month, IT and PC peripherals and related items, the EMS company's largest segment, were up 8% from last year, and made up 49% of consolidated revenues for the period. Optoelectronics product sales (LED devices, LED lighting products and compact camera modules) were up 5% year-over-year. SSD (solid-state drive) and optical disc drive revenue fell 28%, good for 15% of the firm's revenue in the period.
For the year, the company's consolidated revenues were NT$230.7 billion ($7.21 billion), up 8.4%.
