BANGKOK -- EMS company SVI Public Co. today issued revised financial data for the its fourth quarter, saying the net loss was greater than previously stated.

The revised net loss was 304.46 million baht ($9.52 million), the company said. It previously stated a net loss of 215.84 million baht ($6.75 million).

The company cited losses on currency exchange from the sale its SVI China (HK) Ltd. and SVI Electronics (Tianjin) Co. subsidiaries, and the dissolution of Global Vision. It also recorded the reversal of allowance for doubtful accounts from SVI China (HK) LTs. totaling 41.45 million baht.
