LIVINGSTON, SCOTLAND -- Jabil will invest a reported £12.5 million ($19.1 million) to create a Center of Excellence at its factory here.

The company won a national grant worth some £450,000 ($687,000) from the Scottish Enterprise in support of the investment. Scottish Enterprise is a national agency that supports training at high-growth companies located in Scotland.

With the investment, Jabil will hire up to 200 additional workers for the site. The 130,000 sq. ft. factory was built in 1993 and currently employs about 150 workers.

Jabil also has a Center of Excellence in San Jose.
