TORONTO – Celestica has appointed Robert Mionis as president, CEO and member of the board, effective Aug. 1.

Craig Muhlhauser, who announced his intention to retire from the company last October, will remain with Celestica as an advisor to the board until Dec. 31. Muhlhauser has led Celestica since 2006.

Mionis joins Celestica with more than 25 years of executive experience in the aerospace, industrial and semiconductor markets. Most recently, he was an operating partner at Pamplona Capital Management, a private equity firm. He was previously with StandardAero and Honeywell Aerospace.
