NEENAH, WI – Plexus reported fiscal fourth quarter revenue ended Oct. 3 of $668.7 million, up 0.38% year-over-year, and down 0.13% sequentially.

Net income for the period was $23.9 million, down 9.8% compared to the same quarter in 2014, and nearly flat sequentially.

Operating profit was $28.6 million, down 9.7% year-over-year, and roughly flat with the prior quarter.

The electronics manufacturer won 34 programs during the quarter, approximately $167 million in annualized revenue when fully ramped.

Fiscal 2015 revenue was $2.7 billion, up 12% year-over-year.

Looking toward fiscal 2016, Plexus anticipates a challenging start as a result of market sector weakness, particularly in
Networking/Communications and Industrial/Commercial in the first half of the fiscal year.  

The company expects fiscal first quarter 2016 revenue of $600 million to $625 million.
