DANDERYD, SWEDEN -- Philips Mammography Solutions is reorganization its electronics manufacturing operations in Solna, Sweden, and will outsource a large part of its electronics assembly to Note in Norrtälje, Sweden.

The partnership will center on the MicroDose detector unit, Philips said. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"We went into the supplier selection process with limited experience of Note but were immediately impressed by the culture, people and the top-class capabilities at their facility in Norrtälje," said Ivan Davegårdh, senior manager operations at Philips Mammography Solutions. "This was also confirmed through our formal audit process. Note will be a partner that can give us the engineering and manufacturing support we need."
