HUAIAN, JIANGSU PROVINCE, CHINA -- A Foxconn subsidiary's printed circuit board factory here caught on fire this morning, but no casualties were reported, according to Chinese online media.
Modern Express is showing pictures of the early morning fire, which broke out at Foxconn's Huaian Science and Technology City industrial park. In the photos, large plumes of smoke can be seen rising from at least one building.
Firefighters have brought the fire under control, the reports say.
The fire affected a section of building occupied by Hong Heng Sheng Electronics Technology, a subsidiary of Zeng Ding Technology. ZDT is the world's second-largest PCB fabricator.
Foxconn reportedly has invested more than $2 billion in industrial park in Huaian Economic Development Zone, which was founded in 1992 and is home to more than 200 companies.
