BOSTON, MA -- Flex is planning to open an NPI center in the Seaport District of Boston and has named a leading medical researcher to lead it, sources tell CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY.

Babak Movassaghi, who has a Ph.D. in medical physics and was named on more than 40 patents while working for Philips as a researcher, will head the venture.

The site will be located west of the airport on Fan Pier and could occupy around 20,000 sq. ft., according to CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY sources.
