HAMPSHIRE, ENGLAND, UK -- Adaptsys today announced the launch of an embossed carrier tape service aimed at reducing time-to-market for electronics manufacturers and mechanical assemblers. 

Delivery times start at a few days for the service, the company said, which is intended to meet growing demand for manual and automated tape and reel component packaging.

"We’re now seeing demand also grow in mechanical manufacturing, particularly in the field of precision components," a company spokesman added.

Adaptsys is the developer of the Re-flex brand of carrier tapes.
