COATESVILLE, PA ― Nathan Trotter & Co. is expanding its tin and solder bar manufacturing site by an additional 20,000 sq. ft., for a total of 50,000 sq. ft.

The addition will be outfitted with a continuous-cast automated solder line, a second billet casting station to feed the two onsite extrusion presses, eight new furnaces and two new packaging stations.

The firm says this will result in approximately 100,000lb per day of additional capacity.

No financial terms were disclosed.
