NANNING, GUANGXI, CHINA -- Foxconn last week reportedly signed a deal to invest several billions of dollars in a new technology park here, according to the Chinese government.

Reuters is reporting that a local government website says the world's largest EMS/ODM will make an unspecified investment into the 100 billion yuan ($15.34 billion) industrial park in this Southern China province.

Construction will start this year and the site will by open before 2020, the report said.

Foxconn is not commenting directly on the report, Reuters added.
