ATLANTA – The LED Assembly, Reliability, and Test (A.R.T.) Symposium will take place Nov. 29 – Dec. 1 at the Crowne Plaza Midtown here, and show organizers are requesting abstracts.

The symposium, hosted by the SMTA and CALCE, will provide attendees with information to bridge the gap between the semiconductor physics and architectural design-level issues in LED supply chain. Topics include LED assembly; LED failure mechanisms; LED packaging; applications; reliability and testing; package and board cleaning; architectural/smart lighting; UV and IR LEDs; wearable sensors-LEDs; and LED driver systems.

To submit 200-to-300-word abstracts, visit http://www.smta.org/LED/call_for_abstracts.cfm. The deadline is June 15. Include a title, author name, and contact information.

Half-day or full-day proposals are also requested.
