ITASCA, IL -- ITW's Test & Measurement and Electronics business unit reported first-quarter revenue of $464 million, down 1.9% organically from 2015.

Sales were off a total of 3.9% including the effects of currency translation, for the period ended Mar. 31.

Operating income for the period was $72 million, up $1 million from 2015.

The operating margin was 15.5%, up 80 basis points from a year ago.

The unit includes such companies as Speedline Technologies, Kester Solder and Vitronics Soltec.
