FRUITPORT, MI -- Ram Electronics has been acquired by a pair of office furniture executives for an undisclosed price.

Brad Davis and Lynne Bosgraaf bought the EMS company from its Don Neidlinger, who reportedly was seeking to retire. The new owners took advantage of a collateral support program offered through the state of Michigan to help finance the acquisition.

Ram was originally incorporated as R. A. Miller Electronics Corp. in 1970, when it built antenna matching networks and magnetic compasses. It changed its name to Ram Electronics a few years later.

The new owners seek grow rates of 10 to 15% annually. In 2015, the firm had sales of $4 million to $6 million.
