CAMBRIDGE, ENGAND – Negotiations to restructure Scanfil’s operations here are closed, and the electronics manufacturer plans to begin the process of shutting down the plant.

The EMS company expects to take one-time charges of up to $1.13 million related to the site closing.

The company expects to complete the shutdown by July 25.
