TAIPEI – Foxconn reported consolidated revenues of $9.5 billion for June, down 4.3% year-over-year and up 3.3% sequentially.

Second quarter consolidated revenues were $28.7 billion, down 5.1% compared to the same quarter last year, and down 3.7% sequentially.

Consolidated revenues for the first half were $58.5 billion, down 5.4% year-over-year.

The ODM/EMS said its communications-related products experienced good performance in June, while consumer electronics was flat. Computing performed weakly.

The firm’s communications products are expected grow in the third and fourth quarters, as Foxconn’s clients’ smartphones are launched at the end of the third quarter, according to market watchers.
