NEW YORK --  Publicly held electronics supply chain companies are expanding again after two quarters of slow results.

Median supply chain sales among EMS, connector manufacturers and electronics component distributors rose 2.4% year-over-year in the June quarter.

The results should continue to accelerate in the current quarter, added Deutsche Bank's Sherri Scribner in a research note.

"Based on median implied third quarter guidance, sales are expected to grow 2.7% year-over-year, which is better than sentiment had been going into earnings. Management commentary indicates that macro conditions remain challenging, but company-specific ramps are helping drive growth in parts of the industry. Interestingly, supply chain management teams did not appear overly concerned about the potential macro impacts of Brexit."
