TABY, SWEDEN – Mycronic posted third quarter net sales of SEK 497 million ($41.5 million), down 17.9% year-over-year.
EBIT for the July to September period was SEK 148 million, a decrease of 43.5% year-over-year. Orders for the quarter were SEK 367 million, down 34.3% compared to the same period in 2015.
For the January to September period, Mycronic reported net sales of SEK 1.3 billion, up 9.1% compared to the same nine-month period last year. EBIT was SEK 286 million, down 1% year-over-year. Orders were SEK 1.9 billion, up 44.4% year-over-year. The firm’s order backlog reached SEK 1.7 billion.
The firm expects 2016 net sales of SEK 1.9 billion, excluding acquisition effects.
