PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI -- Aimtron has acquired fellow EMS company Target Corp., based here, for a reported $1 million in cash.
Aimtron, which is based about 40 miles south in Palatine, IL, said it will be business as usual for Target.
In October Target filed for court-supervised protection, reporting $1.2 million of debt, against 2015 sales of more than $4.5 million and a backlog of $1.2 million.
Aimtron CEO and founder Mukesh Vasani told a local paper Target will keep its name and has already begun shipping product to new customers. Aimtron said it sought Target to expand its capacity to build military hardware.
“The business has incredible potential, and our plan is to grow the business by 200 to 300% in revenue in the very near future. Similar to growing the revenue, we’re also planning to increase the staff size by 200 to 300% in the future,” he told the Kenosha (WI) News.
