HARTLEPOOL, UK -- The Stadium Group reported sales at its EMS group fell 21% year-over-year to £21.2 million ($25.9 million) in 2016.
Sales at its Technology Products unit were up 18% to £31.9 million for the year.
Full-year pretax profits rose 29% from a year ago to £2.2 million. Bookings as of Dec. 31 were up 36% to £25.8 million on higher demand for ODM products.
The firm reduced net debt 30% to £3.3 million.
In a statement, Stadium chairman Nick Brayshaw said, “We are very excited about the prospects for the Group and believe that our operating model focused around strategically located regional design centers, manufacturing centers of excellence and regional fulfillment centers will allow us to deliver accelerated growth in 2017.
"Our offering of complementary electronic technologies and design-focused engineering expertise is proving very attractive to current, previous and new customers, and this growing demand gives us confidence in the outlook for 2017, which has started positively."
