LAGUNA, PHILIPPINES -- Cirtek Holdings has signed a $77-million deal to acquire base station antenna developer Quintel in a deal scheduled to close today.

Both companies' boards have approved the deal, which Cirtek will fund through debt financing.

Quintel is owned by Trillium International, a NY-based private equity firm.

Cirtek Holdingsa is the parent to semiconductor manufacturer Cirtek Electronics. The deal is interesting because Quintel outsources its Asian manufacturing to Cirtek. The base station antenna market is forecast to grow to more than $14 billion by 2020.
