SAN JOSE – Flex will lay off more than 50 workers at its plant here due to what it calls the “present state” of business.
In a state WARN notice filed Mar. 2, Flex said it would lay off 52 workers in between Apr. 30 and Jun. 30 of this year.
Flex said the cuts would involve personnel in operations and back office, including a director of operations. The layoffs are related to a $50 million restructuring charge Flex is taking. The firm has also laid off staff in Louisville and Morrisville, NC.
